As the year draws to a close, we take this opportunity to look back on some of the wonderful projects we’ve had the pleasure of designing in 2024. Each one has been an opportunity to bring unique visions to life, blending creativity, functionality, and a deep respect for the natural environment. It’s been a privilege to bring to life original design ideas, and we take immense pride in what we’ve achieved alongside our clients.

One of our standout projects this year was an expansive finca in La Mairena, where the focus was on creating a harmonious blend of beauty and productivity. The design incorporated landscaped gardens intertwined with practical areas for a vineyard, olive grove, and aromatic plants. Pathways meander throughout the space, encouraging exploration and a connection to nature, while a newly redesigned pool complements the Mediterranean character of the estate. With panoramic views of the sea, this project captures the essence of refined, sustainable living.

In Los Monteros, we embraced the challenge of designing a smaller garden that needed to make an immediate impact. By focusing on bold, leafy plants and a palette of lush greens, we created a space that feels serene and mature from the moment you step into it. Despite its compact size, the garden is a verdant retreat, offering a peaceful escape for its residents.

Another project, a villa in El Padrón, allowed us to transform a previously unused area into a vibrant and functional space. By constructing a retaining wall, we gained room for a thriving fruit orchard, a vegetable patch, and picturesque walkways that lead to inviting seating areas. These spots are perfectly positioned to take in the spectacular views of the Alboran Sea, creating a setting that is both practical and deeply restorative.

At Villa Dos Mundos, the design focused on creating a dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces. On one side of the property, a Mediterranean-inspired garden integrates sustainable features such as a vegetable patch and chicken coop alongside a multi-purpose sports lawn and paddle tennis court. This area encourages activity and self-sufficiency, while the opposite side of the garden offers a contrasting sense of calm. Here, taller vegetation creates a private, tropical-inspired sanctuary, offering a tranquil retreat within the property. The balance of practicality and relaxation makes this project a true celebration of diverse outdoor living.

Privacy and harmony were at the heart of the design for Villa Maya. This Mediterranean garden shields the home’s exterior spaces, creating a peaceful environment that feels intimate and inviting. By carefully selecting plants and designing for seclusion, the garden becomes a sanctuary, perfect for quiet reflection or entertaining guests in style.

Villa Cenote stands out as a particularly unique project. The focus was on blending the garden with its surroundings while introducing playful yet sophisticated elements. The centrepiece of the design is an artificial beach that complements the estate’s existing palm trees. Through careful landscaping, the garden’s organic curves contrast beautifully with the home’s angular architecture, creating a dynamic interplay between structure and nature. The result is a space full of movement and charm, where every element feels carefully considered.

Villa Luna provided the opportunity to craft a garden that truly engages the senses. The upper level, connected directly to the house, is brimming with vibrant vegetation and fruit-bearing plants, offering a delightful mix of texture, colour, and captivating scents. Descending to the lower level via an elegant staircase, visitors are greeted by a water feature that enhances the garden’s tranquillity. The cascading water creates an immersive sensory experience, culminating in a cosy lower-level retreat designed for peace and relaxation.

Looking back on this year, we’re filled with pride and gratitude for the opportunity to design these exceptional spaces. Each project has been a labour of love, a chance to blend creativity with purpose, and a testament to the trust our clients have placed in us. As we move into 2025, we’re excited to embrace new creative challenges and continue crafting spaces that inspire, delight, and connect people to the beauty around them.
